Payment of the balance owing is required 7 days prior to arrival. Keys can not made available unless the balance owning is paid. We accept cheque, cash, money orders, direct deposit to our account, debit and credit cards. Please note there is a merchant fee of 2% payable if you choose to pay by credit card.
Pets are not allowed at the property (unless otherwise arranged).
Property may be occupied from 2pm on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on the date of departure.
Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. All dishes including cutlery, pots and pans etc. are to be washed thoroughly and placed back in cupboards. (tenants are responsible for cleanliness of these items). BBQ must be cleaned after usage. All rubbish is to be removed to outside bins prior to departure.
Any *breakages or damage to the property or contents are to be reported to us prior to departure. This is an honesty policy. (*broken glasses and crockery are to be replaced by tenant).
Cancellations made later than 30 days prior to the rental date will forfeit the deposit if the property cannot be re-booked. Cancelation made later than 7 days prior to the rental date will forfeit the total rental amount where the property cannot be re-booked.
Please note that we strongly advise prospective tenants to make arrangements to inspect the property before beginning your holiday. If this is not possible then Taj Homeastead will make every endeavour to satisfy your accommodation needs as per your instructions and accommodation shall be taken entirely at your risk. In this situation Taj Homestead will not be held responsible in the event that the accommodation is not suitable and all or part of rental amount may be retained on behalf of the owner.
No linen supplied by the way of sheets, pillow slips and towels. It may be supplied at an extra cost of $40.
